New Years’ Resolutions for Responsible Firearms Owners 2013

This year our New Years’ resolutions are more important now than ever.

We need to fight back vigorously against the propaganda that the so-called news media have been spewing out almost non-stop for the past week.

Both the US AND Canadian news media has been fixated on one topic, “Ban Guns!”

We need to remember:
The responsible firearms owners of the United States are no more responsible for the tragic event in Newtown, Connecticut, than responsible Canadian firearms owners were responsible to the tragic deaths at École Polytechnique.

We in Canada may suffer more from the hysterical environment that is being intentionally created than the Americans.

So please, after you enjoy your Christmas holiday with family, take some serious time to think about what you need to do NOW to defend your Right of “Armes for their Defense”.

For you consideration I suggest,
for the New Year 2013 “I resolve to”:

1. Write my CPC MP before the end of January & tell him/her that I will not vote for him/her ever again unless Mr. Harper immediately (underline immediately) repeals ALL of the Liberals’ 1995 Firearms Act.

Alternate for voters with Liberal, NDP, & Bloc MP’s:

Write my MP before the end of January & tell him/her that I will not vote for him/her ever again unless he/she supports the Conservatives in a vote to repeal ALL of the Liberals’ 1995 Firearms Act.

2. Attend the Conservative Party Convention in Calgary in June 2013 and demonstrate with the Coalition to Implement Conservative Party Policy,* specifically, the current Firearms Policy to respect “the rights of law-abiding Canadians to own and use firearms responsibly.”

3. Vote Green!** if Mr. Harper has not repealed ALL of the Liberals’ 1995 Firearms Act before calling the next election.

And last, but most importantly,

4. I resolve to burn my firearms licence on New Year’s Eve and send the ashes to Mr. Stephen Harper on New Years Day 2013.

(signature)

Solemnly signed before mid-night Monday, 31 December 2012,

Join those of us who have publically taken a stand to protect our Right of “Armes for their Defense”.***

Sincerely,

Edward B. Hudson DVM, MS
